NOW THE NEW ‘IT’ BEGINS!

The old ‘IT’ is finished…

NOW THE NEW ‘IT’ BEGINS!

New life begins in Christ! If it weren’t true, it wouldn’t bother the ungodly or unsettle the sinner. It would not stir the atheist. If it were a lie people would pay it no attention and give it no oxygen, but we have all seen that those who say “it’s not true” just cannot leave it alone. They cannot help but be offended, angry and determined to ‘prove’ it false.

Ever wonder why those who say they don’t believe that God exists and that ‘Jesus, the Son of God, died for our sins, and the Father raised Him from the dead so that anyone who believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life’… get so upset when its mentioned? ………. Because deep down a voice speaks these words: The Resurrection of Jesus validates every promise He ever made, every word He ever spoke and every prophesy He ever made! IF EVERYTHING HE SAID IS TRUE... This messes with our nice logical world. It threatens our worldly belief systems and shakes our self-focused arguments, opinions, and ideas.

Satan is happy for you to see the cross… but not the resurrection! He is happy for you to have a HOLIDAY, but never a HOLY DAY. He thought if he could KILL God then he could keep people from knowing God and worshipping Him. They would have a HOLIDAY, but never a HOLY DAY! If people believed God was dead then they would find an end, but never a FRESH BEGINNING!

On resurrection morning the devil wanted Jesus’s death to be final. He wanted people everywhere, but on their knees in the place of wonder, awe, and worship. If only they found a closed stone and a dead corpse…. Then it would have been FINISHED.

But the angel said: He is not here; he has risen! [Luke 24:6]

Jesus was not the only one who was raised from the dead on that day. Scripture has it recorded that each one who believes in Christ not only died right alongside Him on the Cross, but is also raised from the dead into abundant life with Him.

Do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection. [Romans 6:3-5] I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. [Galatians 2:20]

Now through Christ’s resurrection the life you once had is over, done and finished. For now, you have been made alive… truly alive… fully alive by the resurrection life flowing within you. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. [1 Peter 1:3]

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved! [Acts 16:31]

Today… on this HOLY day… if you have found Christ and believe in Him… let your whole existence celebrate… you were dead… but now you’re alive for ever more!

Rejoice… for the new ‘IT’ has begun.
