Nothing can be something awesome! In fact, nothing can be a lot more than you realise.
It really depends on where you put it. For instance... take $ 1. If you add 000 000 before the ONE then it adds nothing, but should you add it after the ONE then it becomes a million.
Today you may feel like you have nothing… and that’s okay, but you can still turn things around by where you choose to put your nothing. When you put all you have before JESUS He can add nothing, but when you put JESUS ahead of everything, He adds great value. God doesn’t need much to do much, but He does need you to trust Him with what you do have.
The size of your FLOODGATE does not determine the size of the blessings that can come through it!
A woman in 2 Kings 4 found herself in a place where she had nothing. The prophet Elisha asked her what she had, and she replied: “NOTHING!”. “I have nothing at all, except this small insignificant jar of oil.” [2 Kings 4:2] How can that little opening be the floodgate to everything she needed? Her response was not dissimilar to how we often answer God. Her first instinct was to say she had nothing, but midsentence remembered she did have a small, insignificant, disconnected, and unrelated jar of oil. How could that matter? She needed a lot of cash not a teeny, little jar of oil. She saw the nothing, but she did not see the floodgates of heaven behind it. God could’ve just given her a bounty of oil, but instead He chose to bless her with a key to His floodgate!
Take note… Heaven never ran out of oil – she ran out of jars to hold it! What if what you see as just a jar of oil is the very floodgate holding back what you need, desire and hope for today?
So… Lift up your tiny vessels to God today and pour out as much oil as you want!
Lift up your 5 loaves of nothings to God and see Him provide!
Don’t you overlook the anointing that is in you!
Don’t underestimate the reservoir that’s behind your faith!
So pray… Lord open the doors, windows & floodgates of heaven through me so that ‘as it is in HEAVEN so let it will be on EARTH’!
Heaven is a reservoir, and you are the outlet! The whole reservoir of heaven is behind you! You have the key! ‘Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, YOU CAN SAY to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’ [Matthew 17:20] Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. [1 John 5:14-15] Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. [Philippians 4:6] I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. [Matthew 16:19] Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. [Matthew 6:33]
Lord help us to make good choices and seek you FIRST today!
Help us to put YOU before all things so all things will have Your blessing!
