Never put your brokenness in the devil’s hands!
Brokenness is not your weakness… it is the start of your next miracle. Don’t ever put it in the devil’s hands. Bring it to God! For the Lord is near those who have a broken heart and rescues those whose spirits are crushed. [Psalm 34:18]
Paul said:
If I must boast, I will boast of the things that reveal my weakness [2 Corinthians 11:30]… have you seen what God can do with me and all my weaknesses? Can you see no matter where I am God is doing wonderful things? Do you see how I love those who persecute me and hurt me? Do you see this miracle that is writing to you now? I am just a flawed man that God has used mightily with all my brokenness. Imperfect in my sight, but powerful by God’s grace. This is what happens when you let the power of Christ do its GREAT work through you. [2 Corinthians 12:9]
Paul understood perfectly how messed up, weak, sinful, proud, and broken he was without Christ. He knew his imperfections and his failings, but he also came to see when he was honest and vulnerable before God that God turned weakness and brokenness into more powerful transformational and blessed words.
Be careful how highly you think of yourself. It is wise to remember that every believer is just a fragile clay jar graced with an undeserved blessing to contain God’s great treasure. Nobody is as strong as they think they are without God. It is wise to understand that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. [2 Corinthians 4:7]
IN THE HANDS OF GOD YOUR BROKENNESS RELEASES THE SWEET AROMA of faith, hope and love… it brings repentance, restoration, humility, and miracles… it positions you for BREAKTHROUGH and NEW GROWTH! In the hands of God your brokenness is fertile… ready to spring forth like flowers announcing a new season and a new beginning! In God’s hands your weakness can burst open to reveal heaven’s power and promise in you! Your brokenness should be your offering to a God that loves to turn brokenness into glory!
-- BUT SADLY, if your brokenness is allowed to fall into the hands of the devil… he will exploit it… he will infect it… he will make suicide weapons out of it… and he will cause it to release a stench of bitterness, pride, anger, discontent, and nastiness. He will turn what could’ve made you great… into something that will certainly destroy you!!!
How easily we forget that…
He is very good at making people hostages of sadness!
He is a master at using offense and disappointments to enslave people!
He loves turning grief, loss, and heartache into a thousand cuts!
He loves speaking destruction when God says: “It’s not over… I’m still busy!”
Don’t listen to the devil. Don’t curse your friends or your enemies!
Hear God’s invitation…
Turn to me now, while there is time! Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief; instead, tear your hearts. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and merciful. He is not easily angered. He is full of great kindness. He relents from doing harm. [Joel 2:12-13]

IT DOES MATTER WHERE YOU TAKE YOUR SADNESS!
IT DOES MATTER WHO YOU TALK TO ABOUT YOUR PAIN!
IT DOES MATTER HOW YOU RESPOND TO DISAPPOINTMENT!
It does matter where you worship!!!
It does matter what you choose to focus on and meditate on in your season of brokenness!!!
The GOOD NEWS is:-
Brokenness can be the most beautiful gift you’ve ever received if it brings you deeper into the loving arms of God. With God every brokenness comes with a promise and a hope for restoration and life. Brokenness is not your weakness because it is necessary to go further. Brokenness is part of growing! Brokenness is needed to make room! Brokenness, if we will surrender it into the hands of God… does not bring suffering… it brings faith, hope and love!
Living a normal life consists of a journey that will take EVERY person through valleys and hills… seasons of brokenness and seasons of flourishing! This is not abnormal… this is how we get bigger …. growing, enlarging, expanding, maturing and the consequences of blessing all require living things to outgrow their environments and wildernesses in order to occupy new lands… new spaces… new promises. Don't let the devil lie to you... your brokenness is not the end of you... when you lean into God... it is the beginning of something beautiful!
If you’re going through a season of brokenness right now…. I believe this word is for you… PLEASE DON’T PUT IT IN THE DEVIL’s HANDS!
Don’t worship at his altar! --- He will use what God intends for your GOOD to depress you, to take your joy from you, to steal your worship, to suffocate your dreams… and HE WILL cause you to withdraw from those who love you so that you suffer ALONE. He will cut you out of your family and your support structure so no life can get to you. This not good... this is not God... That is how the devil makes a stench that will stink up your life!
If you’re in need of a sweet aroma… surrender your natural instinct to be bitter, angry, unhappy and nasty… and ask GOD to pour NEW WINE into you!!!
