My name is Nico Smit, and this is my blog and ministry info page.
Based in Australia. I was born in Durban, South Africa, married to Joe-Ann and we have two married adult children and four beautiful grandchildren. We live in Hobart, the capitol city of the state of Tasmania.
My joy is ministering as the Lead Pastor of RiverCity Church and overseeing all its campuses and ministries. I serve as national elder with ACTS Global churches in Australia and I am a council member on the Australian Prophetic Council. Other functions I have include Chairman at Gateway Life Solutions LTD, Director at OCI Foundation LTD, and a respected prophetic apostolic voice in the Christian community. I hold a clinical counsellor's registration and remain an active member on the Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I have over 30 years of missions, leadership, church planting and church building experience.
I believe in empowering, discipling, and releasing people into their God-given potential. Miracles, breakthroughs, and victory follow people when they discover their reality of a loving, incredible God.
